Ever since Ken Kutaragi stepped down (or was forced out, or however you want to read it) from Sony Computer Entertainment a couple of years back, maybe you've been wondering how the man who was most influential to the PlayStation brand has been keeping busy since then. The answer: Starting his own company.
Edge Online reports that Kutaragi has announced the formation of Cyber Ai Entertainment, a networks technology company in Tokyo. According to what Kutaragi said to the Japanese Nikkei news service, his company will "initially focus on research and development relating to information processing, targeting cutting-edge networking operations."
How much any of this will still have to do with the videogames industry remains unclear. But Kutaragi (who was last seen in the wild seated in Sony's E3 press conference audience) also still acts as the CEO of game developer Cellius, which was created as a joint venture between Sony and Namco Bandai in 2007.
