In the wake of Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, Croteam is heading back to the well. The studio announced Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter today, a remake of the second game in the series.
The Second Encounter adds HD visuals to Serious Sam II, which was released back in 2005. The graphics are unlikely to change, but it will feature a new Co-Op Tournament mode that will feature prominently at the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, China.
We gave Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter a B in our review, and it's currently available on Steam. Look for it in early 2010.
